Sehlabathebe National Park

Sehlabathebe is Lesotho's oldest national park. It is in the remote, rugged southeastern part of the country. It is mainly the rough landscape that is the park's attraction, although there are some animals as well, including roebuck, baboon and rare birds as the bearded vulture. The area is excellent for hiking, but be careful, as sudden mist can sometimes appear and view is reduced to just several inches. This is especially dangerous when climbing in the mountains. It rains frequently in summer.
